About Applicant Packager

Applicant Packager is a free Windows desktop app for people who receive job applications by email. It reads a Thunderbird mailbox or an IMAP account, finds the messages that look like applications, shows why each one matched, and saves the CVs you choose into folders by search, role and applicant.

What it does

Who it is for

Recruiters, employment agencies and HR teams who receive applications as email attachments. It suits small teams without an applicant tracking system.

Why it exists

Applicant Packager is built and published by Ramy Elbeitam, who works in recruitment and was tired of downloading CVs one email at a time. It narrows the inbox down to likely applications; you make every decision.

What it does not do

It does not score candidates for quality or decide who should be hired, and it does not change your mail. Matches are hints for human review: results can be incomplete if a CV is missing or the search terms do not fit the role.

How it is built

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. The installer is per-user, so it does not need administrator rights.
